About this aircraft
- The Learjet 36 is a light jet that was produced from 1973 to 1993.
- Along with the Learjet 35, it’s one of the most recognisable Learjet models.
- There’s space for up to six passengers, but many configurations only allow for four.
- The baggage hold is large enough for one suitcase per passenger if six people are travelling.
- The passenger area is shorter than the 35’s, but the aircraft has a greater range.
- Like the 35A, the 36A has upgraded engines and a higher maximum gross weight.
The Bombardier Learjet 36 is almost identical to the Learjet 35. Of the two, the 36 is the longer-range variant with greater fuel capacity but less seating. Both models were granted FAA certification in July 1974, while the 35A and 36A were introduced in 1976.
