About this aircraft
- The Cessna Citation CJ2 (Model 525A) is an upgrade of Model 525 (CJ/CJ1/M2).
- Able to fly six passengers for up to almost three hours, the CJ2 and CJ2+ are ideal for short trips like Paris to Frankfurt or Munich to San Sebastián.
- Both aircraft are renowned for their low purchase prices and operating costs.
- The CJ2 has enough space in the hold for six large suitcases and three carry-on items. That’s enough for one suitcase per person if six are flying.
- The CJ2+ launched in 2006 with a more modern aviation system and lower fuel consumption. The upgraded variant can also reach an altitude of about 7,600 metres several minutes faster than its predecessor.
The first CJ light jet took off over 30 years ago and the series has since evolved to match the needs of modern-day customers, with the CJ2 entering the market in 2000. Although Cessna has since upgraded the line even further, the CJ2 remains a popular choice for private jet customers to this day.
